Re: HOWTO: Enable the FN-F4 key (LCD/VGA switch)

Is there a way to do this in KDE?

I can assign scripts to buttons I think, but I can't seem to find a way to cycle through them like in Gnome.

RE: [NC10] How to map the remaining non-working FN keys

I am having a problem with the fn-f5 script. It blacks out the screen as it should, but when I use the setting "dim on idle" in power manager, the display comes back on when idle. looks like the dim on idle just sets some value instead of decreasing the brightness from where it is.

RE: [NC10] How to enable the FN-F4 key (LCD/VGA switch)

This is great. I spent hours last night trying to get something like this going but this worked for me in under 5 minutes. Excelent and thank you very much.
