i think using ubuntu is good enough for you if you dont wish to have a good battery backup as will not let you use ur battery for more than 3 hours

the best reviewed was open suse.......and i have not heard about laptop remix ever......thanx for the new word i will just try it now

its having a poor power management yar......i really canot manage it for more than 2.5-3 hours i want it to work for atleast 5 hours as it worked fine for more than 6 hours on xp.....please tell me how
