After the first apt-get update & upgrade some 30 files were missing because of my bad internet connection (I am using an UMTS-Stick). I did it again and everything went fine, but your customized kernel is still missing...

I solved this not using firefox. As IE has gone without a trace, offbyone, a fairly old mini browser, was my choice. There must be some error in either the new firefox or the page script.
