Sorry for answering my own post. Maybe my post was useless because the voria-kernel already uses the same driver mentioned above (samsung-backlight). Can you confirm this?

The latest kernel is going to support all samsung note- and netbooks thanks to this patch: https://lkml.org/lkml/2011/2/9/334 The patch is supposed to end backlight brightness issues and to fix hotkeys for all samsung note- and netbooks. But noone knows when this driver will be available to end user...
