And did you try with a fresh install (11.04 or maybe try beta 11.10) without setting up voria packages/kernel ? i have it with fresh install 11.04, before and after voria package.. on adaptor no problems, on battery harddisk dies.. This is not my first linux install.. something fisshie is going on..
