Q430 integrated graphics

I have a Q430 running Arch linux. Today I decided I was going to give bumblebee a shot. Problem: i915 graphics driver does not show up under lspci. I do get some i915 turbo errors at boot time, but nothing else i915 related shows up anywhere. Thoughts?

Code: Select all

options nvidia_bl max_level=0x1ffff shift=11

Backlight on Q430 working

I FINALLY got backlight working on my Q430 in Arch Linux. This solution SHOULD work for other Nvidia backlight laptops: that is those with Nvidia chipsets. Download and install nvidia_bl for your distro. For Arch this is available in AUR. I'm not using the DKMS version. Load the nvidia_bl module $ s...
