Does no one have this problem?
Or is the forum dead?

[Lubuntu] Fn-Keys doesn't work

In the past I used the samsung-tools from the VoriaPPA with Kubuntu (some version) without problems on a Samsung N220. Now I freshed up this machine with a Lubuntu 14.04 (complete new installation). I installed the samsung-tools (ver: 2.3.1-ppa1-loms-trusty) from the VoriaPPA. The wlan itself techni...

Ubuntu 13.10 ?

Has someone experience running (K)Ubuntu 13.10 with the samsung-tools?

On my Samsung N220 it doesn't work.

The network-manager is not started. And I got sometimes(!) none-saying error-messages about easy-slow-down-manager.

install it on openSUSE

Is there a way to install the samsung-tools on openSUSE?

Maybe there is a HOWTO or step-by-step description?

forget status after reboot

I configured the "samsung-tools" (on Ubuntu 11.10 on Samsung N220) to remember ("last status") the status of the wlan-, bluetooth-adapter and webcam.

But after a reboot it forget them and all three devices are on.

What could be the problem here?

close netbook has no effect

I set up my ubuntu (on Samsung NP220) to go to suspend-to-disc-mode (hybernation 3? S3?). But it does nothing. The close-netbook-event is not fired. Maybe it is something with your packages? I have only installed the samsung-tools currently. Maybe anotherone would help here? btw: The suspend-to-ram-...

Re: HOWTO: Use the repository on *buntu 11.10

Thanks voRia it works. But I have two questions. I want to regulate my backlight automaticly. With power cable 100%, with accu 70%, after 5min inactivity on 30%, after 10min 0%. Is this possible? What is about the touchpanel? The two-finger-scrolling doesn't work. Is there a solution somewhere in yo...

Re: HOWTO: Use the repository on *buntu 11.10

I know that the kernel team itself and all the distris have a really complex and slow going code-add politic.

Why are your packages not in the official repositories? Did you tried to add them?

[Ubuntu 11] WLAN deactivation

I have a Samsung N220.

I tried the current Ubuntu 11 from USB-Stick as a Live System. The Fn-keys for light and volume work out of the box.
But I am not able to deactivate the WLAN adapter with the Fn key.

Any ideas?

I don't want to install Ubuntu before I know that my N220 fn-keys are supported.
