Hi.
Is it possible to get the brightness / backlight modules installed on Fedora ?
I have just tested FC16 and performance seems far better than Ubuntu 11.10
Full screen flash is very watchable, unlike Ubuntu.

Yes try removing the samsung-laptop packahe and installing the
easy-slow-down-manager
package - this should install the module for all kernels
