Hey guys,

Thanx for this samsung+linux forum I think it's a really great idea!

Back to the topic - do you know how to make the brightness control working on the samsung x360 laptop?

I can change brightness when GRUB is showing the system list but when Linux Mint (my system) loads the fn+cursor combination doesn't work.

The only way to change brightness is by terminal command

Code: Select all

sudo setpci -s 00:02.0 F4.B=XX
where XX is the brightness value.

My current kernel is

Code: Select all

2.6.34-997-generic #201005111008 SMP Tue May 11 09:10:25 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Thanks!

Hey!

On linux mint 10 with repo installed and grub line added the brightness kinda works. Panel applet can change it and the arrows shortcuts also recognize the brightness change. Although it loops over and ste keys stop to respond. Anyway does any1 know how to fix this looping?

Cheers
