Hi
I have a brightness problem with my samsung nf310. I use Xubuntu (ubuntu with XFCE) .
I already post for the same problem here: http://www.voria.org/forum/viewtopic.ph ... ilit=nf310
But the solution (here: viewtopic.php?p=4750#p4750) doesn't work after updating to 11.10.
PLEASE help me !
Ravi

Re: Samsung NF310 Brightness xubuntu 11.10
I had the exact same problem on my N130. Every release of xubuntu was affected.
I've get on with it until upgrading to xubuntu 11.10 ,
+ uninstalling all of voria packages [sudo apt-get remove samsung-backlight samsung-tools (and others....) ]
+ removing Voria old Natty entries in "Software Sources" (available from Synaptic, or alternatevely you do some edits)
+ adding again new, oneiric ocelot entries in software sources (see "How to add repository....")
+ reinstall software [sudo apt-get install samsung-backlight samsung-tools (and others....) ]
That was sufficient to solve the problem (7 brightness steps!)
Hope it was useful to you
