Bonjour,

Would it be possible to update samsung-tools for ubuntu 14.10. It's still very useful for FN key's and energy management options.

Agreed, I've upgraded to 14.10 on my series 7 from 14.04 and have no sound controls, no brightness controls and no backlight.
Worse still the brightness is continually trying to adjust when plugged in making the system almost impossible to use.

So a new push of the tools would certainly be welcome otherwise will have to downgrade
