N220 - has any one got any distro working 101%

I have an N220 dating from 2010. I've tried many distros, 7 or 8, none work properly. Mint nearly works, but the internet stops working after a dozen or so pages are loaded and I have to re-boot the whole machine. Also there are problems with videos, with audio, and of course the backlight problem.
Has anyone got ANY distro that works completely? Or at least you can say "I too tried a lot of distros and Hiccupx works best?" ("Hiccupx" is hereby trademarked as a name for a distro.)
I should have given up long ago, but I do NOT want to give up!!!!
