this month or next Linux Mint 18.1 (Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial) comes out. I am already considering the update.
Currently I am running Mint 17.3 (Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty) on my Samsung NP900X3E
I do you samsung-tools on this version. The FN keys are done by changing a config file so I think it is just about the CPU fan mode.
So the big question:
-Will I still need samsung tools?
-Is there a samsung tools for 16.04?
The bigger mSata SSD is already ordered
