Linux On My Samsung

I tried to start linux back track3 on my nc10 with the pen drive vercion.....it didn't start.....i changed the usb priority on the boot....it started but with an error...."falled to allocate frame buffer. is your videoram to low?"... so i changed the memory of the scheda video(in intel) from 128 to maxdvmt (226).... but nothing... the same error....the "startx" doesent work :"falled to allocate frame buffer. is your videoram to low" the graphic doesent appare.
can enyone help me? I'm stuck from 3 weeks

hmm i tried backtrack 4 pre-release and i can't remember how i got it to work, try the other options at the boot menu
