Bluetooth on the NC10 with lucid lynx?

I upgraded my Ubuntu installation on my NC10 to Lucid Lynx yesterday.

Today I wanted to test the bluetooth connection for the first time and i failed miserable :(

I activated bluetooth and installed blueman to manage the connections.
The Problem is, that whenever i try to start blueman, i get the message that the "connection with BlueZ failed" and blueman won't start :(

Do you have any idea how to solve this? :-[

That's odd.
Try to restart the bluetooth service with this command and try again:

Code: Select all

sudo service bluetooth restart

Also, make sure the old 'samsung-scripts' from karmic is uninstalled now, because it conflicts with the new 'samsung-tools'.
I've also added a note about this in the thread with instructions on how to use the repository (thanks to 'ansicplusplus' for having pointed me out to the conflict).

Please check in your dmesg if there is any message related to bluetooth when it does not work.
Also, check with the following command if bluetooth is enabled or disabled:

Code: Select all

rfkill list bluetooth

Blueman works fine on my NC10.
Did you remove the deafult Bluetooth manager? Or at least stop it running. I think you may have a conflict between the default Bluettoth manager a=in Lucid and Blueman
