Linux On My Samsung

Hey

if got some problems with my x120

if got running linuxmint 9 on it this is based on ubuntu 10.04

i dont understand what i must do to get the fn keys and the backlight running ?

when i install the backlight and the samsung tools on a live cd only the webcam key work ?

EDIT: now i installed mint on the x120 and when i want to install samsung-backligt he says that:
dkms (>=1.95) but it is not installable

i installed ubuntu 10.04 and samsung-backlight, samsung-tools
the keys now work but nothing happens !
bios version is 08cx

I'm sorry, I can't help you with linuxmint, I've never used it so I don't know if there are any differences with lucid...

With ubuntu, what do you mean with 'nothing happens'?
Please describe your problems in more details or else I can't help you.

iam runing now ubuntu 10.04
and i added your repo. and installed samsung backlight and samsung tools
now the keys works for the backlight but it shows that he is doing it darker and brighter but on the screen nothing happends its still the same brightness

its a samsung x120 with bios 08cx
