Dear Friend, i copy a ask that i find in other forum, but i am interested in it.

Does anyone know if the Data Protection Sensor on the NB30 is compatible with Ubuntu? I originally bought it hoping to use it not realizing that it might not work with Linux.

It's hardware based so I'm not sure if it's constantly running. When I used Windows 7 for the first bit of having it, there was an icon in the tray to see if its active or not, and to change the sensitivity and turn it on and off. Is there any software/drivers that at least might be compatible with this hardware, or is it still working?

Thanks!
