samsung n130 with ubuntu 10.10 MM problems

im new to this site and im really glad to see that theres a forum for us Samsung users.
anyway heres my problem. i recently updated my ubuntu 10.4 to 10.10 beta. i no its just a beta so it was destine to happen, but ive lost all sound. it was all working great with 10.4 and now i got nothing. im not a advanced user but can do terminal commands and what not.

if someone could help me that would be great. im happy to answer any question about my netbook set up to help in solving to problem

Open the terminal, type alsamixer and press ENTER.

See if you can turn up the sound volume a bit.

If you still have problems, register on the Ubuntu forums and talk to them. As you are using a beta version of Ubuntu, they would probably appreciate that cos beta testers are important.

thanks alot that done just the trick. i had to change the sound device and now it all good. thanks for the help.
