No Harddisk spin-down in Maverick
Hey guys,
since I upgraded to Maverick, my harddisk does not spin-down in battery mode any more. Of course, the option is ticked in the power management preferences. Anyone observed the same behaviour? Any suggestions?
I have a NC10
Cheers,
Simon

I'm not 100% sure if i understand you correctly, but have you tried "mouse" preferences in "system" and disable "mouseclick by touchpad" (i'm not sure about the exact terms in the english version, I'm using the German one).

Re: WLAN LED under Kubuntu 9.10
hm, I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 and the wlan LED turns on and off when pressing the buttons. Maybe you should install Powertop and look if it still consumes power when turned off.
Coming to the 3G connection, I had the same problem with connecting via a mobile phone. Seems to be a bug in Network-Manager ...

Re: Tremendous power drain with new kernels
Has someone tried how much this increases battery life and reduces performance?

RE: Problem with gnome-power-manager from voria repo
Hi voRia,
first of all: thank you very much for your great repos.
Nevertheless, I would like to report the same problem as schellbach's: removing ac power leads the system to be unusable. Re-installing the original gnome-power-manager restores functionality.
Cheers,
Simon
I'm sorry, I don't ...
