Re: New application's coming: Samsung Tools!
Perfect timing. Just upgraded to beta1 yesterday with no fn-key support as always. Thinking, wether you already had something ready for lucid i reenabled voria ppa et voila, there it is. My NC10 is only half the fun without you ;-)

Re: Works on Ubuntu Karmic started
You're right, there must have been some leftover from your repository.
Seems that the poperty is not enough as the NC10 doesn't have a proper acpi-backend to support it, if i understand that correctly?

Re: Works on Ubuntu Karmic started
I deinstalled your kernel module und reinstalled xbacklight. Then i set
xbacklight --set 30
and the screen dimmed.
Kernel is 2.6.31.14
driver is 2.9.0
Am i misinterpretating something?

Re: Works on Ubuntu Karmic started
From the changelog of the 2.9.0 intel driver
* Add support for BACKLIGHT property when using kernel modesetting
(KMS). This allows backlight adjustment with programs such as
"xbacklight -set <percentage>" or "xrandr --set BACKLIGHT <value>".
This should make your "hack" with the kernel module ...
