After some more digging into this issue, I came to the following solution:
- Create a file /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-twofingerscroll.conf :
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "two finger scrolling for touchpad"
MatchProduct "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad"
MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event ...
Search found 7 matches

Re: [NC10] Improving the 2 fingers scrolling
I forgot to mention why I ended up with this shell script:
- hal is no longer used in default Ubuntu, so an fdi policy does not work :(.
- creating an x11 configuration in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-twofingerscroll.conf (as suggested here http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/xorg.conf.d#Bildlauf-mit-Zwei ...

Ubuntu Maverick with Unity on my Samsung
Hi all,
I've installed Ubuntu Maverick on my NC10, added Samsung Tools and everything seems to work alright. Battery time seems to be comparable to 10.04.
*But* the Unity interface is dead slow on my Netbook - switching between application takes several seconds :(.
Anyone noticed this issue too ...

Re: "wireless control is not available"
Hi,
I just checked the easy-slow-down-manager package in synaptic and it shows with a gray exclamation mark - wonder what that stands for?
Choosing "Mark for upgrade" from the context menu and then apply resulted in a re-installation of the package.
This fixed the problem.
Thanks for your help ...

since a few days it's no longer possible to turn on/off wlan on my NC10 :(.
FN-F9 gives "wireless control is not available", in the Samsung Tools Preferences the options Bluetooth, CPU fan and Wireless are disabled.
