Linux On My Samsung

Hi everyone,
Android 2.3 Gingerbread has been ported to x86 architecture (i.e. intel processor).
I successfully installed Android on to my Samsung NB30 Touch Screen NetBook (Atom N450 processor), succeeding on having the touchscreen working (really cool!).

Yet no fix for that problem... I went back to v. 10.04 me too...

Open the terminal...

1) Type "sudo nano /etc/default/grub" (replace nano with your favourite text editor, if needed)
2) Add "acpi_backlight=vendor" to the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT parameters, so that...

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"

...or something similar becomes...

GRUB ...

puoi provare ad aggiungerlo il 146 ,sulla stessa stringa del nb30 , per il resto vedi qui

Comunque sul 10.04 tutti sti casini non ci sono...almeno per il mio...

Ho aggiunto a mano " /N146 ", in pratica adesso il risultato è che nella lista dei modelli c'è anche un ...

il mio notebook è il Samsung NB30/N146
All'interno di quel file di testo l' NB30 c'è, ma il sottomodello N146 non mi pare elencato.

Cosa indica questa verifica?
Cosa fa quello script lì?

Con il Samsung NB30 Touch Screen, il metodo proposto da Gattaccio fa funzionare di nuovo i tasti di gestione della luminosità, ma quando il power management fa entrare il display in sleeping mode, il display invece di spengersi... sflickera !

Il metodo proposto da Gattaccio funziona anche per:

Samsung NB30 con Touch Screen
Ubuntu 10.10 (maverick)
Kernel Linux 2.6.35-24-generic

Il FN Key per lo spegnimento del monitor continua a non funzionare.

A me la soluzione proposta da Gattaccio non funziona.
I tasti FN di controllo della luminosità continuano a non funzionare all'interno del sistema operativo.
L'unica maniera è andare all'interno del Bios... utilizzarli lì dentro, e poi tornare al sistema operativo.

- backlight management is not working anymore
- wireless is not working anymore
- FN keys not working anymore
- touchscreen working though

Stesso problema qui... purtroppo... improvvisamente i samsung-tools hanno smesso di funzionare. A me non funziona neanche la scheda wireless !!!
Al momento non ho trovato una soluzione.
Le soluzioni che erano valide fino a qualche giorno fa... sembrano adesso inutili.

Salve a tutti,
esiste il modello di netbook in oggetto... con il touch screen nativo... forse è un po' più costoso, ma io l'ho comprato e funziona benissimo sia sotto Ubuntu 10.10, che sotto Windows Xp Professional SP03 (riconosciuto di default), che sotto Windows 7 Starter.

I bought the Samsung Nb30 JT01IT , that black semi-rugged net-book, equipped with a 10" touch screen .
Of course under Ubuntu 10.10 , it doesn't work ...
