Linux On My Samsung

I would just like to ask if anyone is using this model successfully on here as I am thinking of trying Linux on my laptop now and wondered how the general support is with the latest Kernel versions.

I would like to ask if it should be ok to put Mint 10 on my fairly new R530, the basic spec is as follows:-

Core i3 330M cpu @ 2.13ghz
Chipset: Intel HM55
Intel hd graphics (integrated)
3gb ram
320 gb hd
wifi
integrated webcam

If people are using Mint or Ubuntu with success on this ...
