Re: Brightness Control not working anymore, after last updat
sorry to bump an old topic, but I just like to mention this also helped me. I'm using Linux Mint 13 on my N210 netbook, and my backlight control was not functioning well for quite a while, I think after an original kernel update. The slider responded to fn + up/down but the backlight didn't change ...

Re: Maverick hangs
I can confirm that so far setting intel_max.idle_cstate=0 solves the suspend issue. Same here (N210 with 10.10/2.6.23-25 ), however I think it's slightly mistyped. You should append: "intel_idle.max_cstate=0" to the default boot parameters (/etc/default/grub). On my machine I can use both suspend ...

Re: Backlight doesn't work with latest Maverick kernel
I was able to stop the flickering also by adjusting the volume.
When I disable the 'dim display when idle' option in the power management display, the flickering doesn't return. Although this may not be the way it should, it works for me just now..

Re: Wireless problems with Ubuntu 11.04
Hi, I also have a N210 with Ubuntu 10.10. I don't have wireless problems but I've read your note about the version number. My 'system/about ubuntu' also tells me I'm using 11.04 Natty Narwhal, released in April 2011... which I think is strange. Do you know more about that? perhaps I unintentionally ...
