Linux On My Samsung

Short question:
is there any applet to control all or some of things we can control with samsung-tools?
I have no keyboard shortcuts for bluetooth or webcam.

Same here.

I installed samsung-tools on my Series 5 laptop and was able to use FAN and WLAN keyboard shortcuts. After removal i was not able to change it's status.

So it is still needed on 13.10.
Any chance to update PPA?

After suspend i am unable to change wifi, fan, lcd backlight status at all ...

It sometimes hang and gets hot.

Anyway on (?)ubuntu 13.10 it stopped to work (since there are no samsung-tools).
We have to wait...

I removed whole GRUB kernel parameters including acpi_brightness=vendor.

And it does work including even wireless.

i connected hdmi output, rebooted and started to mess around with those scripts.

i made and it works now!

Edit the ati signature file:

sudo nano /etc/ati/signature

and just replace the "UNSIGNED" line with the following code

I see this forum a bit dying, but since it was a bit help for me, i will left my info 'for the children'.

2. Backlight regulation
3. WiFi after suspend
