Re: cpufrequtils and libcpufreq0 cause problems on the NB30

"cpufrequtils" is installed as a dependency with the modified kernel on my repository. It's needed because the modified kernel has the 'acpi-cpufreq' driver compiled as a module instead of being included into the kernel, in order to allow it to be replaced at runtime by the PHC module for ...

Added a new package on the repository, nvidia-bl-dkms, needed to enable backlight support on notebooks/netbooks shipped with nvidia video cards (package taken from the "PPA for Mactel Support").
Main post updated with instructions on how to use it.

Re: Let's add support to other Samsung netbooks

I need the exact string for your model in order to add support for it.
Please post here the output of the following command:

Code: Select all

sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name

Re: error trying to configure the repo

No, it's not normal, probably there was a temporary error on the keyserver when you added the repository.

All you need to do know is to add the key for the repository as a trusted key.
You can do it with this command:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 1E5F36F0

Re: Disabilitare Wifi (wifi da usb inutilizzabile)

Ciao,

Re: HOWTO: Enable the FN-F4 key (LCD/VGA switch)

On kubuntu, just use krandrtray.
If you want, you can bind it to Fn-F4, so you can launch it using the hotkey.
