My previous post got few replies. Looking down the list, I see the last ten posts this year got a total of 7189 views but only 4 replies.
That suggests this forum contains a lot of people who would like linux to run on their Samsung, but almost nobody who has any information how to do that. Am I right?
Does anyone here know anything about Linux on Samsungs?
Re: Does anyone here know anything about Linux on Samsungs?
Dear Andy,
I am running Linux on a Samsung NP300E5C. It runs fine, apart from the battery problem I mentioned in an earlier post today.
With the samsung-tools loaded you have most of the functionality available with the Fn key. Also, I have an Nvidia Optimus card, which needed a bit of fiddling to get it working properly (bumblebee drivers). Otherwise, everything is good.
Don't hesitate to take the plunge. I easily found all the information I needed on various forums.
