I just successfully installed the various samsung-tools/backlight / etc packages to fix a backlight problem and the problem seems to be completely fixed just by doing the installation.
But I have a question.
When I do
samsung-tools -i
I find I am running easy-slow-down-manager. This is a "control interface." Does that mean it is something that I can access? By command line or a graphic interface? How do I do that? I'm puzzled that (apart from the backlight working) I can't seem to find any reference to the installed packages in my system. Probably a very very ignorant question but we all have to start somewhere!
